PEACH STATE PRODUCTIONS
My name is Emily Ray. I'm the founder and creative director of Peach State Productions, a WBE/WOSB providing writing, editing, production and design services for private companies, media outlets, advertising agencies, and others.
After graduating from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a fine art degree, I spent my early career as a Design Editor at Paste Magazine. Previously, I was a UX Designer at Amazon and Marketing Manager for Nintendo's Sportsball for Wii U.
Today, my focused organizational style, strong technical fluency, and broad knowledge of various RFP/RFQ and other procurement processes, allow me to offer creative solutions that help win awards and millions in new business for my clients.
Amazon
Amazon hired me to help improve overall user experience and intelligent offers for its crafting subsidiary, Fabric.com.
My work included development of UI/UX roadmaps, a deep dive into graphics optimization practices, hero graphic & email design, and championing strategic concepts like cart abandonment campaigns focused on high-margin licensed Disney fabrics & notions.
Loupe
Loupe is a Visual Art Streaming Platform Startup that hired me to develop strategies across digital, social media, and paid campaigns for growing its living room TV partnerships, OOH/hospitality customers, marketplace and planned NFT services. In addition to hands-on graphic design of marketing and branding materials including logos, social media graphics, in-app hero graphics, and email newsletters, I wireframed user-friendly interfaces for its Wordpress to Shopify website conversion.
Beazer
Beazer Homes needed an email lead nurturing series to drive its potential homebuyer funnel using customer-centric automation. The project required unique messaging for online and walk-in customers at Signup, 30-Day and 60-Day intervals.
Collaborating with Beazer’s partner agency, three, I designed a series of animated and static emails delivered to email lists segmented into new, qualified, and abandoned users. I wrote several iterations of benefits copy around mortgage choice and energy efficiency, before coding emails with multiple personalization points in Beazer’s preferred platform.
House Digest
I recently started writing for House Digest, focusing on stories in the Gardening, Design, and Home Improvement spaces. From buying guides that help readers make the best purchasing decisions to distilling Joanna Gaines' top tip for mastering maximalist style into actionable advice, I enjoy creating content that keeps the HD brand voice and style top of mind.
Nintendo
The indie game developers at TooDX hired me to help generate brand awareness and develop prospects as they launched a multiplayer video game, Sportsball for Wii U. My role involved experiential event design for events like RTX, IndieCade, PAX and Indie Game Revolution at EMP.
My responsibilities included support of the developer teams with their graphic and production needs, including design of event signage, collateral items for swag bags, print content, tournament proposals and engagements, as well as vendor coordination and public relations.
Modjoul
Modjoul is a data invention company keeping employees safe with a revolutionary wearable device. During the startup’s early days, I worked with their partner agency, three, to design prototypes for Modjoul’s emerging software dashboard. Along with incorporating the newly developed brand guidelines, I made recommendations on key metrics reporting for both managers and individual users.
Paste
Paste Magazine engaged me as an intern, freelancer, and eventually, as Editor of its Design and Visual Arts verticals, reaching 2.5M+ monthly readers with innovative storytelling for new and existing audiences.
Along with producing deadline-driven news coverage, my responsibilities included photography, illustration and graphic design of hero images, gifs, and infographics for all desks including ‘Best of’ lists viewed millions of times.
I also identified sponsored video and contributed content opportunities with brands like Adobe and Adidas by effectively collaborating on multiple projects alongside key stakeholders, agency and in-house PR teams, and brilliant artists around the globe.
Serta
C-level executives at Serta Simmons Bedding relied on me to create stunning keynotes, effective client presentations and profitable pitch decks.
Providing input and creative production services for National Sales Meetings, Townhalls and other sales & marketing events, the scope of my work for SSB often included remotely designing for wide, mobile and multi-screen applications. I also created corporate PowerPoint templates for proposals and presentations created in-house by sales associates, managers, and company leadership.
KIND WORDS
Thanks so much for your great work, Emily... even into the night owl hours last night. Thanks also for incorporating my script so perfectly. The presentation looks great.

Paula Wallace, President
Savannah College of Art & Design
I had the chance to talk to the president of SSB last night. He said they were extremely pleased with the presentations and he was really thrilled how well they all tied together. What a super tough couple of weeks for you, but it really paid off for us. Thank you again.
Brad Ramsey, Creative Director

I wanted to reach out to say how pleased I am with the work you are doing for the project. Everything has certainly met my expectations.
Keenan Conigland, Producer
Kingsland Creative
Kingsland
Documentary producers at Kingsland Creative hired me to design a website highlighting the inspiring life story of Alberta O. Jones (Muhammad Ali's attorney and the first female prosecutor in Louisville, Kentucky). Murder of a Trailblazer explores Alberta's life and tragic death and shines a light on a little-known yet remarkable figure in American history.
